SENDIT NZ Prohibited Items Policy
The following items are included in the definition of Prohibited Items for the purposes of the SENDIT NZ Terms of Use. This policy is subject to change without notice.

Items that require delivery outside New Zealand.
Items that are regulated by the Animal Products Act 1999 (e.g. milk), the Postal Services Act 1998 (e.g. mail) or any regulations under those Acts, where those items comprise the majority or bulk of the items proposed to be transported.
Perishable items, refrigerated items, or frozen items, unless in each case the terms of the Transport Agreement under which a Deliverer agrees to transport them clearly provide for the items to be transported within the timeframe required to avoid spoiling, defosting or similar effects.
Items that require delivery to a location where the import of that item into that location is prohibited or restricted under applicable laws or regulations (including biosecurity regulations). E.g. delivery of a plant to a location where the import of that plant is prohibited.
Human bodies or body parts, or bodily substances of any kind.
Animals or animal parts of any kind (including livestock).
Bees and other insects.
Biological specimens or samples.
Age-restricted items of any kind, including alcohol, tobacco, tobacco products, vaping products and herbal smoking products, and any paraphernalia associated with those products.
Illegal, stolen or counterfeit goods or items.
Controlled drugs, illicit substances or recreational drugs of any kind.
Firearms or other weapons (in each case, whether whole or in parts).
Airguns.
Fireworks, flares and other explosives.
Cash, money, gift cards, bank cards or other means of accessing funds in bank accounts, lottery or similar tickets, prepaid cards or similar items representing immediately available funds, cheques or traveller cheques or any other item that entitles the bearer to be paid money or to use the item as money, keys, jewellery, precious metals, precious stones or other similar valuables.
Electronics unless packed in a way that protects the item from all damage that could reasonably be anticipated from transportation.
Unsafe, toxic, hazardous, flammable, combustible, corrosive, polluted or contaminated items.
Poisons.
Any item that we, or a reasonable person in the position of the Deliverer or designated recipient, would consider dangerous.
Medicines of any kind that are not generally publicly available off the shelf from a supermarket and that are not age-restricted or otherwise controlled, including prescription medicines.
Items that support hateful ideologies.
Any item that a reasonable person in the position of the Deliverer or the designated recipient would consider harassing, obscene, or objectionable.
Pornography.
